CHRISTMAS 2015 PRIZE DRAW WINNER

ANNOUNCEMENT
AGM 2015 PRIZE DRAW WINNER
At our AGM on 15th October, 2015, the Prize Draw for a Free Consultancy Day was held and we are pleased to announce that this has been won by Mr. Stuart Richardson from Robert Nott Insurance.

Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting to be held at the Offices of Open GI Limited, Buckholt Drive, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SR, on Thursday, 15th October, 2015. Registration will be from 10.30am with the formal AGM commencing at 11.00am. A light buffet lunch will follow.

This year we will be keeping the AGM simple. All members will be very welcome to attend the AGM but we would point out that this will only consist of the formal AGM proceedings.
During 2016 we will be holding our National Committee Meetings on a regional basis allowing us to combine this with smaller versions of our Members Day. Keeping the AGM separate enables us to focus our efforts on organising a series of regional Member Days with additional training support, speaker presentations, an exhibition and networking opportunities.

OPEN GI USER GROUP ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Open GI User Group will be held at JCB World Visitors Centre, Rocester, ST14 5LS, on Wednesday, 8th October, 2014.
The position of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer are up for re-election at the AGM, and nominations are now being received.
Jonathan Lyth (Acting Chairman) and Mark Wilkinson (Secretary) will not be putting themselves forward for re-election. Mark Sollis (Vice-Chairman) and Phil Ramsdale (Treasurer) are willing to stand again and are available for re-election. Nominations for the post of Chairman and Secretary would therefore be most welcome from all members of the User Group. User Group members should not be shy in putting other names forward.
We would ask that you forward any nominations to the Open GI User Group office within the next 14 days by either post or email. Nominations must be received no later than Friday, 8th August, 2014.

Open GI User Group Marks 30th Year Anniversary
Independent broker body, the Open GI User Group is this year celebrating its 30th anniversary - marking the longest serving independent collective supporting the development of broker software in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the anniversary, User Group Acting Chair Jonathan Lyth, JCB Insurance Services said: "This is such a remarkable achievement and one in which I am delighted to be a part of. The work we undertake as a forum allows our members to influence changes to the technology provided by Open GI, to ensure that its functionality is robust and efficient and is meeting the needs of all brokers nationwide.
"Whilst we are a separate, independent body, over the last 30 years we have worked closely with Open GI to ensure our members' voices are heard. At our AGM on 7th October, 2013, the Prize Draw for a Free Consultancy Day was held and we are pleased to announce that this has been won by Mr. Colin Leech from Concorde Insurance Brokers Limited.
